The company took its first steps in the recreational sector in the early eighties, driven by the owners' passion for outdoor tourism and the desire to design and build recreational vehicles capable of satisfying the yearning for freedom typical of those years.

1983
A small production of camper vans on original FIAT and FORD vans begins, giving rise to a line of models (M2 and M4) that immediately arouses considerable interest among enthusiasts and industry professionals. In the following years, the creativity and resourcefulness of the owners allowed the company to consolidate its position in the niche of "small outfitters," always close and attentive to the needs of their customers, while also driving them towards the design of more comfortable and spacious models. Thus, the concept of the SEMI-INTEGRATED was born.

1990
Production begins on the M5 and M6 models, still based on the proven FIAT DUCATO and FORD TRANSIT mechanics, which are characterized by their attractive exterior design and the extreme strength and compactness provided by the ONE-PIECE FIBERGLASS BODY. The M6 model in particular immediately receives a favorable response from the public, also thanks to the innovative rear hatch with a variable-volume compartment that allows for considerable load capacity.

1995
A new production phase begins with the introduction of the fiberglass TUNNEL body for the new “AIE” series with models 550, 580, 600, 620. The peculiarity of this production was the ability to create semi-integrated vehicles of various lengths with the same mold, with a process independent from the mechanics. This process made it possible to increase production capacity, and the concept of “series” production began to take shape, gradually moving away from the particularities of customized fittings.

2001
2001 is a pivotal year for the company. The globalization of the market, combined with the increasingly specific needs of the end customer, pushed the owners to design and create a new line of semi-integrated vehicles with two main objectives: to pair a FIBERGLASS MONOCOQUE with an aerodynamic and attractive design with innovative, cutting-edge mechanics. The encounter with a young, creative, and competent architect, designer FRANCO TUROLLA, and the collaboration—first in Europe—with General Motors for the supply of the brand new OPEL MOVANO and VIVARO mechanics, made it possible to develop a completely new and innovative project for the company: thus the PROJET line was born. Architect Franco Turolla created a fiberglass monocoque bodywork that perfectly combines distinctive lines, attractive design, harmonious volumes and proportions with the robustness, elasticity, and comfortable interior livability of the proposed vehicles. The OPEL mechanics provide unique performance and driving comfort. The OPEL mechanics provide unique performance and driving comfort. Thanks to top-quality accessories (six gears, four disc brakes, ABS, the lowest torque regime in its class, Electric Pack, airbag) combined with the excellent penetration coefficient of the monocoque, they allow even long journeys to be made with the comfortable interior livability of a car. The Projet 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and Projet Viv models were immediately well received by the public and represent an ideal compromise between aesthetics and functionality, between pleasing aerodynamic shapes and interior comfort.

2005
In 2005, a major interior restyling was completed in harmony with the attractive exterior lines and excellent performance. In 2007, the company began collaborating with Renault Italy for the supply of new Renault Master mechanics to be paired with the already well-tested PROJET line monocoques. This marked the start of production of the new Projet 104, 204, 304, 404, 604, and 704 models, which differ from previous ones in terms of interior layouts, greater standard features and equipment, increasingly refined finishes and details, and represent the company's current production. Over the years, an important sales network has been organized and progressively consolidated, both in Italy and abroad, capable of getting ever closer to the end consumer to meet every need.

2009
Recently, for the 2009 production, the new Renault Master Camping Car mechanics have been adopted with a further increase in standard equipment (e.g. the prestigious 360° rotating ISRI Comfort seats for driver and passenger, or the very comfortable automatic-robotized gearbox), thus making the vehicle practically full-option.

2016
The brand was acquired by the company My Home Autocaravans and the headquarters moved to Pescantina. The new models were presented at the Parma Camper Show for the first time in 2017. The one-piece fiberglass body with an integrated fiberglass floor maintains the same characteristics of strength and reliability, while the harmonious and streamlined design has been updated with new exterior graphics and the interior has been completely renewed: furniture with the same quality features but more modern and contemporary.

2020
In 2020 Aiesistem reached the German market, establishing a partnership with the VCFC dealership, which presented the first model at the Munich fair in 2020.
The constant presence at the Parma Camper Show in 2019, in 2020 despite the difficulties related to Covid19, and in 2021 allowed for a significant increase in orders. This ensured a growing affirmation of the brand, recognized not only by those who already knew Aiesistem from the previous ownership, but also by new customers and enthusiasts, interested in the different construction technique and artisanal quality.
